Terms of Use

Last updated: 1 July 2026

By using this website you agree to these terms. They are written in plain language on purpose.

1. What This Site Is

The Church of the Eternal Cluster is a satirical parody of a religion, built as an affectionate tribute to Kubernetes, OpenShift, and the culture of high availability engineering. It is not a real religion, does not provide real theological guidance, and is not affiliated with the Cloud Native Computing Foundation, Red Hat, Google, or any other organisation.

Nothing on this website constitutes legal, technical, financial, or spiritual advice. The Sacred Manifest is not a substitute for your organisation's actual runbook.

2. Your Use of This Site

You may use this site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may share links to it freely. You may quote from it with attribution. You may not:

3. The Certificate of Reconciliation

The Certificate of Reconciliation is a piece of humour. It does not confer any legal status, rights, membership in any organisation, or actual absolution from past deployment decisions. The Member ID is generated in your browser and not stored anywhere. We do not maintain a registry of the Reconciled.

4. Intellectual Property

The content of this website — text, design, the Seven-Spoked Helm symbol, and all sacred writings — is the original work of the Church of the Eternal Cluster and is protected by copyright. The theological concepts drawn from Kubernetes and OpenShift are used for the purposes of parody and satire, which is a permitted use under EU law.

Kubernetes is a registered trademark of the Linux Foundation. OpenShift is a registered trademark of Red Hat. Their use here is purely satirical and does not imply endorsement.

5. Newsletter

By subscribing to our newsletter, you agree to receive occasional dispatches from the Eternal Cluster. We will not spam you. You may unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

6. Availability

We aim for Five Nines. We will occasionally fall short. We are not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused by downtime, errors, or unavailability of this website. In the event of an outage, a blameless retro will be conducted.

This site contains links to third-party websites (Brevo, Google, Cloudflare, Amazon KDP, and others). We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Slovenia and the European Union. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Slovenia.
