Twenty deaths a Pod may die, sung as antiphonal plainchant. The cantor names the error in the plain tongue. The choir answers in Latin, pleading for mercy. No irony in the performance. The choir means it.

Every error message is a small grief, and grief has always been sung. Errores Sacri takes twenty of the cluster's most familiar sorrows and gives them the treatment the medieval church gave its own: the cantor names the error in the common tongue, and the choir answers in Latin, because ImagePullBackOff becomes bearable when it becomes Imago Non Inventa. These are antiphons for the deaths a Pod may die: out of memory, out of time, out of favor with the scheduler. Some listeners report that after enough repetitions they stop fearing CrashLoopBackOff and begin to hear it as Recursus Interminabilis, the endless returning, which is, after all, just the Loop keeping its promise. A requiem, then, but a hopeful one. Nothing loved is ever lost. It is rescheduled.
